With release day just around the corner, our Game Producer Serhii Pisotskyi, speaks to Hideous Slots about our highly anticipated release Fat Banker!
Fat Banker has a unique aesthetic to it, what was the inspiration behind this and the game in general?
The theme for Fat Banker is set around the 1920’s era. The art team were inspired by the Art Deco movement, which embodies both opulence and class, and we felt this would fit the theme well given the prevalence of the movement during that time frame. The concept then drew upon characteristics and themes, including flashy cars and jewels which began to make their way into our symbol design. We of course styled these with a playful tone that has become so iconic in our Fat series of games.
Fat Banker sees Push Gaming return to the Fat series, what features and mechanics separate Fat Banker from the other hit titles in the franchise?
Fat Banker will be instantly recognisable as a classical Fat Game but updated and now even more exciting. For example, our Fat Symbol can now have a multiplier attached as he grows. This means that the Fat Banker symbol is both a wild, substituting other symbols in-game and can become a multiplier increasing any wins he helps create further. We also have a Gold Car feature in Fat Banker Free Spins, this serves as the last chance feature for players and can be triggered when they don’t have enough wilds to achieve a new level. The Gold Car mechanic can give additional wilds to the player, and all of this means that Fat Banker continues with a similar format as the series whilst pushing the boundaries on what a Fat game can be.
Could you tell us more about the Fat Banker bonus round and what players should expect?
Players will need to land the Fat Banker symbol and a wild money bag in order to unlock five free spins, while five additional wild money bags are needed to increase the Fat Banker’s size during these spins and awards three extra. This can culminate in the Banker filling the entire game board as he grows. He will traverse the game grid and reposition wherever a wild money bag symbol lands and, as mentioned, these can now land with a multiplier attached increasing the wins gained further.
What do you think players will love the most about Fat Banker?
I think players will not only be drawn to a continuation of a hit franchise, a unique game aesthetic and exciting gameplay but also the crescendo of excitement the Fat Banker Free Spins offer during the bonus round as he grows. I also really like the new Fortune Link feature and suspect players will too - they can win in the base game by landing both bullion symbols and a silver safe symbol on reel six. However, landing the silver safe symbol on the highlighted hot spots on reel six will award the fortune link feature. Here players are awarded two free spins that reset every time an additional bullion symbol lands on the now cleared game grid. These are also joined by multiplier symbols that can work together to award huge wins for the player.
There are multiple Bonus Buy options for players within this release could you tell us more about them?
We have three distinct options for Bonus Buys - of course, each feature can be landed naturally but we also offer the opportunity to buy Fat Banker Free Spins with random numbers of Wilds attached. Players can also buy Fat Banker Free Spins with five guaranteed Wilds and lastly, you can buy the Fortune Link Feature for just 30x the player’s bet size. There is enough choice and opportunity to please all players within the game.
Finally, can you give us any hint about what else is coming in 2022?
We really enjoyed the flashy cars seen in Fat Banker and our next release Mad Cars develops this four-wheeled theme further with a post-apocalyptic feel. Growing our portfolio of slots this year with new titles and a return to some of our classic games as shown in Fat Banker will further build our player-focused game catalogue.
